Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will lead diverse audit engagements across multiple industries, supervise staff members, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality service delivery
Audit Management
Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
Develop and execute audit programs based on risk assessment
Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance
Supervise and direct audit teams of 2-4 staff members
Ensure adherence to firm methodology and professional standards
Manage project budgets and resource allocation
Identify and resolve technical accounting issues
Client Relations
Serve as key point of contact for assigned clients
Maintain strong professional relationships with clients
Present audit findings to client management
Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests
Identify opportunities for additional services
Participate in client proposal development and presentations
Team Leadership
Provide on-the-job training to staff accountants
Review and evaluate staff performance
Coach and mentor junior team members
Facilitate knowledge sharing within the audit department
Contribute to staff recruitment and development initiatives
Prepare and review complex financial statements
Conduct technical research on accounting and auditing matters
Stay current with accounting standards and regulatory changes
Assist with quality control procedures
Support tax season initiatives as needed
Local travel to client sites
Seasonal overtime during busy season (January-April)

Primary Responsibilities
