The Ministry of Justice Te Tāhū o te Ture is seeking an experienced Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor to deliver end-to-end communication services including strategic communications advice, planning and delivery.
This role will support the implementation Te Au Reka, the new digital case management for New Zealand's courts and tribunals.
You will design, plan and deliver engagement activities internally and externally. And craft compelling content for a range of channels and audiences, so your writing skills will be second to none.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
Reporting to the Manager, Strategic & Digital Communications, in the Communications and Ministerial Services team, and working closely with the Manager, Te Au Reka Change & Engagement the successful candidate will demonstrate:
a minimum of 5 years' experience in communications and/or stakeholder engagement, with demonstrable experience in a senior advisory role
proven ability to develop and execute communications strategies and plans that drive stakeholder engagement
exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills, with a knack for distilling complex information into clear and compelling content
exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to form strong working relationships with senior leaders
understanding of current and emerging digital communication trends and platforms
an understanding of the machinery of government, and experience navigating a large or complex public sector agency
experience coaching and mentoring other communications professionals.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $+8,208 and $135,53+ based on skills and experience.
