Senior Manager, Design - Athletic Footwear Position Summary
Job Description:

As a Senior Designer of Athletic Footwear, you will be responsible for creating designs exclusively for Private Brands and develop trend strategies that support the Walmart Apparel Strategic Business Unit (SBU) merchandising goals. You will assure that Walmart's private brand DNA/guidelines, trends, aesthetic/style, quality and value all support the customer's needs and lead the market.

You will set the brand's seasonal fashion direction and align with broader Walmart strategies. You'll help ensure merchant leadership is aligned with the creative direction and assortment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a strategic vision for the brand, with a customer-centric approach
• Oversee all aspects of the brand including brand management, design, merchandising analytics, and storytelling
• Lead the design vision, execution and identity of each brand, ensuring the merchant strategy and brand guidelines are followed
• Partner with marketing and brand services teams to ensure all cohesive brand vision is executed through all packaging, promotional materials

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.

Cross-functional project management, Master's degree in liberal arts or relevant field.
