Your New Role

The Senior Manager, Service Design is responsible for managing and driving the overall direction of the Service Design capability. This role involves engaging with senior stakeholders to align member needs with strategic priorities or commercial contexts, defining and leading end-to-end design projects while supporting one or more designers, and identifying opportunities for Service Design support. Additionally, the Senior Manager provides coaching on the value of Human-Centered Design (HCD) and the 4Ds process, and works to improve the Service Design practice by enhancing methodologies, tools, and ways of working.


To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

10+ years experience in CX (at least 6+ years in Design experience)
Experience in managing and coaching Service Designers
Experience in leading end-to-end design project delivery in cross-functional teams
Balance visionary, strategic thinking with pragmatism
Clear understanding of how to turn design research into tangible, actionable outcomes
Deep understanding and experience with HCD methodologies
Experience in financial services and/or other large, complex organisations in a cross-functional squad
Strong written and verbal communication
Strong project management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
