Your New Role
Note this is a initial 6 month Max Term Contract.

The Senior Product Manager, Retirement Product role is responsible for driving key initiatives to enable Aware Super to execute on key responsibilities under our Retirement Income Strategy. This role provides expert knowledge and guidance for all Retirement Product initiatives at Aware Super and has a direct impact on driving growth through the development of the retirement offer available to our members,
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Collaboration with value streams and internal stakeholders to implement Retirement Product initiatives that deliver a competitive and compelling Retirement Product strategy aligned to member segment and channel needs
To identify problems using data and insights and provide direction for solutions for squads to address and resolve
Define a structured and organised product backlog for specific initiatives and sprint plans
Deliver and execute initiatives to uplift Retirement Product for members, delivering improved member outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience :
Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Management, or other business-related disciplines
Extensive knowledge and evidence of application of contemporary product development practices and strategies
In-depth knowledge of the superannuation and wealth management industries, particularly superannuation and retirement products, legislation, and administration
Experience in the research, development, and implementation of retirement products and services
Strong experience in program delivery and execution with the ability to “roll sleeves up,” take ownership, and get things done
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to facilitate large groups of senior staffYou are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face.
You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
