Location: Ontario, Canada (Work from home)
Working hours: 37.5 Monday – Friday 0+:00 – 17:30
Key responsibilities
o Lead projects from initiation to closure, with a thorough understanding of requirements gathering, data migration, developmental cycles, testing, and training.
o Manage programs that include multiple projects across different business units working towards a unified goal.
o Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure successful project execution and team cohesion.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed project plans for delivery.
o Identify areas for process optimization and create efficiencies in delivery.
o Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, including clients and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
o Demonstrate a strong understanding and experience in data migration and data analysis.
o Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and status updates to communicate program and project progress, risks, and dependencies effectively.
o Utilize project management tools and methodologies, with proven experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, to drive project execution and delivery excellence. Experience working with Scrum framework is an asset.
o Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for continuous improvement and future projects.
o Exhibit high standards of detail, analytical thinking, and self-drive in problem-solving and decision-making processes.
Key skills & Requirements
o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager within the software development sector.
o Minimum of 2 years of Program Management experience.
o Proven track record of successfully managing the implementation of complex enterprise software system projects from initiation to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
o Exceptional client-facing experience and skills, including managing expectations, building trust, and savvy communication.
o Ability to influence and foster an environment of shared accountability.
o Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
o Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
o Strong understanding of technology to enable efficient decision-making and priority focus.
o Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
o Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) and/or Certified Scrum Master/Product Owner with experience managing your own Scrum team is a plus.
o Experience working in an Agile development environment is required.
