Overview
We are seeking a Senior Solicitor to provide day to day senior support to the Director and Head of Litigation and the wider litigation department, with organic growth, client care, supporting on operational processes and maximising profitability.
Including but not limited to the overseeing of the agreed service, staff performance and client care to ensure the consistent delivery of a premium service, supporting andwhere appropriate leading business development and implementing new work, and handling a reduced litigation portfolio, as required.
How you'll make an impact
Partner with management to document procedures, nurture client relationships, and participate in client service reviews
Train claims handlers on client procedures and monitor their performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements and key performance indicators
Maintain high-quality data on the case management system and collaborate with IT support for client reporting
Ensure full compliance with office protocols and client service standards
Lead by example with honesty and integrity, promoting a positive and proactive attitude
Collaborate closely with SSL and GB Management teams to deliver exceptional client service and meet SSL objectives
Serve as the primary liaison between claims handlers, management teams, and clients
Oversee team performance against targets, manage claim lifecycles, and contribute to financial goals
Assist in recovering outstanding client bills and aged debt
About You
Proven experience in a senior solicitor role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and management
In-depth knowledge of client service level agreements and key performance indicators
Ability to manage complex cases and provide technical guidance to litigation handlers
