Our client, a women-owned professional accounting firm, is actively seeking a Senior/Manager Tax Accountant to champion their mission of providing excellent client service to their individual clients, small businesses, and non-profits. There is an opportunity for advancement and growth.

Responsibilities include the preparation and review of all types of tax returns, notice resolution, tax research, tax planning, and consulting services. You will work closely with the partners to deliver exceptional client services, including obtaining client information, delivering tax returns, and responding to client inquiries. As a leader and mentor, you will collaborate with partners and team members to develop and implement firm policies and procedures. Serving as a resource for all employees, you will have the opportunity to provide guidance on tax software, interpretation of tax law, and answer return preparation questions as well as mentoring staff, monitoring security procedures, and assisting with minor IT issues.

Located in the Hanover, NH/Norwich, VT area, this is a full-time position with an annual average of 32 hours per week, with about 60% of the hours worked between January and May. A current CPA license (or enrolled agent) is desired or you are committed to studying and passing the CPA exam. Candidates with five years or more of experience are preferred.
