Texas Instruments is seeking a talented senior designer to join our innovative team and enhance the user experience of our website, which is tailored to engineers who work in tech industries such as automotive, robotics and aerospace.

In this role, you will bring your expertise in UX/UI design, interaction and graphic design to life, shaping the visual direction and functional aspects of our customer-facing website. From branding and marketing, to imagery and digital sales, your work will directly influence how users engage with our platform.

Our office is conveniently located in downtown Toronto steps from Union Station. This is a long-term contract position.

You will:

Understand business goals, technical specifications and constraints
Identify design problems and devise innovative solutions
Meet with partners to gather and evaluate user requirements
Establish and translate visual design and functionality requirements into wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, etc.
Build working prototypes of reusable, modular designs and components contributing to a design system
Provide design direction and specification documentation as required
Present ideas, prototypes and competitive analysis to management and stakeholders
Must have:

Strong, visually-driven online portfolio demonstrating a range of work
5+ years designing engaging solutions for reputable brands
Good understanding of design and usability best practices
Strong art direction skills with understanding of visual design principles
Ability to think critically and engage quickly with business and user goals in mind
Proficiency with prototyping and user testing tools, especially Figma
Strong interpersonal skills, work collaboratively and transparently with other team members
A curious mind but knowing exactly when to ask the right question
Knowledge of HTML and CSS; WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and compliance
Detail oriented; ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
