About the Role

As a Senior Website Engineer on our Website Team, you’ll be a key player in building, optimizing, and scaling a cutting-edge web experience that reaches millions. You’ll drive technical strategy, shape critical marketing and branding initiatives, and set the bar for website performance and accessibility. Your work will have a direct impact on how we connect with our audience and accelerate our growth.
You’ll partner with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver exceptional user experiences, foster experimentation, and ensure the website operates at peak performance. As a senior member of the team, you’ll mentor junior engineers, champion best practices, and tackle technical challenges with creativity and precision.
What You’ll Do

Build and Scale: Lead the technical design, development, and maintenance of a world-class website using modern frameworks like Next.js and
Builder.io
.
Collaborate: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Marketers to translate ambitious business goals into robust technical solutions.
Optimize Performance: Implement advanced strategies to improve website speed, SEO, and accessibility, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Support Key Initiatives: Contribute to high-visibility projects like product launches, branding updates, and experimentation efforts.
Drive Growth: Partner with cross-functional teams to spearhead A/B testing and other growth-driven projects, leveraging data to enhance conversion rates.
Set Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, deployment, and security, leading to delivery of high quality end-user experiences.
Mentor and Lead: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, fostering their growth and strengthening the team’s technical expertise.
What You Bring

Proven Experience: 5+ years of professional web development experience, including 2+ years with modern frameworks like Next.js.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML, with a strong focus on building scalable and maintainable codebases.
CMS Mastery: Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as
Builder.io
, Contentful, or similar.
Optimization Skills: Proficiency in web performance, SEO, and accessibility best practices.
Data-Driven: Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and growth experimentation tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Track record of working effectively with teams across Marketing, Product, and Design.
Leadership Ability: Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.
Problem-Solving: A strategic thinker who can quickly diagnose issues and deliver impactful solutions.
Excellent Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
