Job Description

We are a growing, modern salon led by a passionate owner who is expanding beyond the chair and launching her own professional beauty product line. Our brand is rooted in creativity, education, and elevated beauty—and we’re looking for a driven, creative marketing professional to help bring that vision to life. We’re seeking a Social Media Manager & Marketing Coordinator to take ownership of our online presence, brand awareness, and marketing strategy for both the salon and the upcoming product line. This role is ideal for someone who understands beauty culture, trends, and storytelling—and can turn ideas into engaging content and measurable growth.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and others.
Create compelling content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
Manage social listening tools to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and customer feedback.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow brand awareness for the salon and product line
Maintain a consistent brand voice, aesthetic, and messaging
Capture and edit photo/video content (in-salon and behind-the-scenes)
Manage posting schedules, captions, hashtags, and engagement
Track analytics and provide insights on performance and growth
Assist with product launch marketing, promotions, and campaigns
Collaborate closely with the salon owner on brand vision and goals
Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to improve content visibility on search engines.
Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand standards before publishing.
Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing, digital marketing strategies, and emerging technologies to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
Requirements

Strong understanding of the beauty, salon, or lifestyle industry (required)
Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Familiarity with SEO techniques, keyword research, web analytics (Google Analytics), and content creation best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft engaging messages tailored to target audiences.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of video editing and photography is a plus.
Understanding of branding principles, relationship management strategies, public relations tactics, and e-commerce platforms is desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred but not required. This role is ideal for a passionate marketer eager to leverage their creative talents in a collaborative environment dedicated to innovation and growth.
Pay: $24.33 - $29.30 per hour
