Location: Hybrid 1 day a week in London Bloomsbury Office (Closest station Tottenham Court Road/Holborn)

About The Role

Working as part of a small but business critical team, you will be key in maintaining the products and software systems that keep our clients, as well as our businesses connected. Benefiting from a modern tech stack, and the opportunity to work on new and exciting greenfield projects as well as supporting with optimising the user experience on existing apps and software. This role will provide you with the environment to stretch yourself and grow as a developer, communication and flexibility is key in this faced-paced and varied role. Collaborating with both internal and external teams you will ensure that project requirements (functional and non-functional) are clearly understood, taking a lead from our senior developers, you will need to be a natural problem solver, with a customer success mindset. Using your own initiative and building new solutions that will help to continue our trajectory of growth and innovation, inspiring and pushing the team and mission forward with your contributions.

Key Requirements
• Ability to adapt and flex as needed to build using technology that is best suited to solving the problem.
• Currently, we build with .NET Core, C#, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML, Azure, RabbitMQ, MS SQL and we adopt new technologies when they'll help us better achieve our goals.
• Write clean, maintainable software to critical deadlines whilst following best engineering practices.
• Natural flair for understanding and then solving challenging problems; through simplistic solutions and services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - dev QA your own work to a high level.

About You

A talented engineer you will have a passion for software quality, an eye for continuous improvements. You will have a solution-based approach that focuses on the bigger picture whilst remaining pragmatic and operating within known constraints.

You will be a team player who gets excited about tough business problems, and who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get deep into technology and code to find the best solutions. Taking pride in your work, you will have a strong desire to make a difference and have and have enthusiasm for your own learning and development.

Desired Skills And Experience
• Ideally 3-4+ years' hands-on commercial experience implementing resilient and reliable software and integration solutions, but if you are technically talented, passionate and can communicate then we're interested to hear from you regardless of experience.
• Around 3+ years .NET and C# experience, demonstrating the ability to create and maintain API's, data pollers, rabbit consumers and producers.
• Around 3+ years Angular experience demonstrating the ability to develop end to end solutions with good understanding of service and site structure.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, and a desire to give and receive regular feedback.
• The ability to bug fix existing code bases and improve processes.
• Strong SQL experience. Demonstrating the ability to create and maintain SQL statements.
• A good understanding of Dapper and how it is implemented.
• Experience in supporting end users' issues and triaging reported problems and delivering excellent customer service to product consumers.
