Software Engineer I - ASPX
12-18 Month Contract
Hybrid in Danbury, CT
Summary
Seeking a mid-level software engineer (Software Engineer I - ASPX). As a Software Engineer I - ASPX, you will work as part of our development team to build custom ASPX components within the framework of our web application.
Primary Responsibilities
• Collaborate with both the development team and other stakeholders to design, build and test new custom components for our existing web application
• Participate in an agile workflow, including defining time estimates for remaining work, daily standups and code reviews
• Maintain code integrity and organization
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or relevant work experience
• 2-4 years developing ASPX pages for web applications
• Proficiency in JavaScript/ES6, jQuery and HTML 5
• Proficiency in Microsoft Transact-SQL and understanding of relational database models
• Experience working with VB.NET a plus
• High energy level, enthusiastic, and eager to do what is necessary to be successful
• Highly creative and inquisitive; able to multitask effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time work hours (+:00am – 5:00pm)
• Ability to commute to our Danbury office location a plus
• Knowledge of the relocation industry is a plus
