Job Description -

The CNC Machine Shop Head is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CNC machine shop, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and a safe working environment. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on technical expertise

Key Responsibilities -

1. Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the CNC machine shop team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.

2. Production Planning and Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities, including job prioritization, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.

3. CNC Machine Operation and Maintenance: Oversee the operation and maintenance of CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance, productivity, and quality.

4. Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and company policies.

5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment, complying with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

6. Team Development and Training: Develop and implement training programs, enhancing team members' technical skills, productivity, and knowledge.

7. Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in budgeting and cost control for machine shop operations, including purchasing, inventory management, and resource allocation.

8. Customer Communication and Support: Liaise with customers, ensuring their requirements are met, and providing technical support and guidance as needed.
