About the Role
We are seeking two reliable and caring support staff to work with a 12-year-old boy who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a part-time position requiring 3 hours of work per week, mainly after school hours in term time and during school holidays. Weekend shifts may be required occasionally.

The successful candidates will provide 2:1 support to enable him to access social opportunities in the community, including personal care, dressing, undressing, and ensuring his safety at all times.

The role involves accompanying him on social outings and participating in community activities. The successful candidates will also need to be aware of his sound sensitivity and take necessary precautions.

Key Responsibilities
Providing personal care and toileting assistance
Assisting with dressing and undressing
Accompanying the individual on social outings
Participating in community activities
Ensuring the individual's safety at all times
Requirements
Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Reliability, caring, and friendly attitude
Understanding of sound sensitivity
Respect for confidentiality and working in the home environment
Ability to drive and access to a car
What We Offer
The successful candidates will receive a competitive hourly rate of £13.00, plus mileage reimbursement of 40p per mile. The wage will be paid monthly, and appropriate holiday pay will be given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check, which will be met by the Local Authority.

The relevant checks will be conducted to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK.
