Join a pioneering team as a Sydney Orthotist, working at the forefront of digital orthotic innovation! AbilityMade is revolutionising orthotic care by teaming up amazing orthotists with cutting-edge technologies to improve mobility and quality of life for people with disabilities.

BACKGROUND

In 2022, AbilityMade collaborated with Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) to develop an improved clinical model incorporating the latest developments in collaborative care, digital client management, and telehealth. This model is backed by our digital central fabrication facility, which produces over 1,000 custom AFOs per year.

These clinics have been very popular with both families and physios, so we are expanding to more Sydney sites, and we need a second Sydney-based orthotist to join our team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

To be part of our on-site Sydney clinics team, delivering custom AFO clinics at leading partner physio centres like CPA and NAPA.

On non-clinic days, our orthotists work either from home or from our lush offices above Wynyard, with the rest of our amazing team in a large open-plan office with shared kitchen sponsored by Google, pool tables and Friday pizza and drinks.

Work in a clean office environment where we keep the creative, fun designing and problem-solving to get great client outcomes, but without the hazardous fumes, harmful chemicals and dangerous dusts.

We offer training alongside our Orthotist here in Sydney to develop your clinical and digital prescription skills and work towards opening more clinical locations.

We offer pathways to further your skills in:

Acquiring limb geometry through a lightweight fibreglass cast and 3D scanning
Digital limb modifications through Canfit
Learning about 3D Printing orthoses and how hybrid AFOs with different materials can be designed to obtain improved client outcomes
Improving clinical systems through digital practice management systems and tools
We are actively working to develop improved systems and technologies, and welcome any ideas you have that we can develop together to improve the industry and help more clients.
