• Position Summary:*

The System Integrator Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of advanced systems into composite aerostructures. This position requires a deep understanding of aeronautical systems, electromagnetic testing, and certification processes. The role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate, qualify, and certify systems while adhering to stringent regulatory and performance standards. The System Integrator Engineer will also drive innovation in system design, testing methodologies, and certification strategies to meet the complex demands of modern aeronautical engineering.
• Key Responsibilities:*

1. *System Integration in Composite Structures*: Lead the integration of advanced systems within composite aerostructures, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and structural integrity. Develop robust solutions to address the unique challenges of composite materials.

2. *HIRF and Lightning Testing*: Plan, execute, and analyze High-Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) and Lightning tests for aircraft and laboratory environments. Ensure integrated systems demonstrate resilience under extreme electromagnetic conditions.

3. *Electromagnetic Qualification*: Conduct comprehensive electromagnetic qualification tests to validate system reliability and performance in compliance with industry standards. Address any electromagnetic interference issues proactively.

4. *Certification Processes*: Develop and implement certification strategies for integrated systems in composite structures using advanced computational tools. Provide detailed documentation and analysis to support regulatory compliance.

5. *Collaboration with Design Teams*: Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to ensure systems are integrated seamlessly into composite aerostructures without compromising performance or manufacturability.

6. *System Optimization*: Analyze system performance and propose optimizations to improve reliability, efficiency, and integration within composite materials.

7. *Regulatory Standards and Compliance*: Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and industry standards, ensuring all integrated systems meet or exceed certification criteria.

8. *Technical Problem Solving*: Apply critical thinking to solve complex integration challenges, bridging the gap between system functionality and composite structure requirements.
• Minimum Qualifications and Experience:*

- At least 15 years of experience in aeronautical product development, with a focus on system integration and composite structures.

- Extensive expertise in integrating aircraft systems into composite aerostructures, addressing unique material and design challenges.

- Proven experience in planning and conducting HIRF and Lightning tests for aircraft and laboratory environments.

- Demonstrated knowledge of system electromagnetic qualification testing, including the ability to interpret and resolve test results effectively.

- Hands-on experience with certification processes for integrated systems, leveraging advanced computational tools to validate designs.

- Strong familiarity with certification standards and regulatory frameworks for aeronautical systems and composite structures.
