My client is a leading Digital name in the Australian Digital Signage Industry, renowned for our innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology. They are an eclectic team with diverse skill sets and are looking to expand our crew with a new Support Technician. If you're passionate about AV, IT, and hardware—and have a curiosity to learn and grow in these areas—this role might be perfect for you!
Ideal Person:
Highly regarded: Digital Signage experience (Technical support in a digital signage environment).
Technical knowledge with at least a basic understanding of IT and networking.
About the Role:
As a Support Technician, you will be a key player in their support team, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch assistance. Reporting to the Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Support Inquiries: Responding to support inquiries via phone, email, chat, and other channels in a knowledgeable, friendly, and professional manner.
Ticket Management: Updating and managing your ticketing queue to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Equipment Configuration: Configuring digital signage equipment as required to meet client needs.
Troubleshooting Assistance: Assisting onsite technicians with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Occasional Visits: Performing occasional onsite visits as needed to address client concerns.
This role emphasizes learning and skill development, and you'll receive training and support from our experienced team. We offer a competitive salary package based on your skills and experience. While this role is ideal for those at the entry level, the opportunities for growth and development are significant.
About You:
In the dynamic world of Digital Signage, adaptability and a willingness to learn are key. We are seeking someone who is comfortable with a range of technologies and eager to expand their expertise. While experience in digital signage is highly regarded, it's not a requirement. A background in IT, AV, or a related field will be advantageous. Previous experience in a support role, familiarity with graphics or audio design, and networking experience will all enhance your application, though they are not essential.
