Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with 3-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use.

Key Responsibilities
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including user guides, technical manuals, and API documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and functionality.
• Translate complex technical concepts and procedures into user-friendly content.
• Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills.
• Analyze and manage existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain templates for consistent documentation across all products.
• Conduct usability tests on documentation and gather feedback for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in technical writing.

Required Skills And Qualifications
• 3-6 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence, and Markdown.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience with content management systems and document control software.
• Ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging style.
• Strong research skills to gather information from diverse sources.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Qualifications:
• Experience in the technology or software development industry.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
• Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
• Knowledge of API documentation tools such as Swagger, Postman, or similar.
