The Technical Writer Aviation is responsible for aviation related doctrine and documentation management processes within the Aviation Services Unit.
Using your excellent technical writing skills, you will be writing and maintaining aviation policies, procedures and relevant material. You will need to liaise with a network of subject matter experts from across the emergency management sector, and with key industry bodies, to drive a transparent approach that supports diversity and positions Victoria to be world leading in aviation doctrine/learning and development.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in technical writing in a learning and development environment.
Demonstrated experience in Change Management and Documentation Management.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, ECM SharePoint and MS Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) desirable.
Understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Legislation and the Australian Qualifications Framework would be advantageous.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
