Job Title Lead Technology Manager

Location London

Fixed Income and Currencies FIC) Cross Product Technology delivers solutions for the First Line of Defense Counterparty and Funding Risk management; and End of Day Risk and Profit and Loss (Pnl) calculations for multiple asset classes. The core functions include Collateral and Margining, X- Value Adjustment (xVA) calculations and Credit, Equity and Rates Risk & Pnl calculations in addition to capabilities allowing DB to comply with the regulations.

As Lead Technology Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the technology strategy of this area aligning with the Bank wide strategy, setting technology standards in addition to managing the team and deliveries to one or more key functions.

Your key responsibilities
• Define and drive the technology architecture and strategy including our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) journey
• Working closely with stakeholders and leading global technology teams
• Working in close partnership with other technology teams to maximize the shared technology product roadmap, drive synergies, simplification, and efficiencies
• Supporting and hands on approach with the development
• Leading development teams and ensuring our platforms meets all the security and audit requirements.

Your skills and experience
• A strong technology background in a Front Office Technology environment
• Previous relevant experience in building large scale and complicated systems
• Good understanding of the financial products and their pricing methodologies
• Strong architecture and design skills
• Business Advisory and influencing capabilities that support decision making in strategy and direction
• Experience in multiple programming languages, cloud technologies and User Information technologies
