Are you looking for an exciting new challenge in 2025?

We are looking for File Management Support Officers (FMSOs) to join our team and play their part in keeping New Zealander’s safe.

Based in Piki Ki Te Ao, Otahuhu
Permanent/Full time Shift Work
Remuneration: $63,526 per annum
Attractive Shift Work Incentives
Training provided however adequate computer skills are required and you will be required to complete an online psychometric test
Multiple positions available
Intake date commences on 11 September 2025 – you must be available to start on this date.
The first 12 weeks will consist of training at Piki Ki Te Ao from Monday 15 September. You must be fully available to attend training for the first 12 weeks.

File Management Support Officers (FMSO’s) are part of File Management, Transcription Services (FM&T) and are part of a nationally centralised group which supports a number of key elements within the case management process, our frontline staff and also provides key services to victims.

Have you got an inquisitive mind? Do you work hard to get the right outcome? Are you able to get the job done, even if it’s in a fast-paced environment where there can be pressure from time to time?

This is a challenging, interesting, and very important role, you would be recording data, establishing details, and efficiently managing information in real time. Quite simply, you would be our digital paperwork superheroes. Some of the key accountabilities in this role are:

Accurately recording and transcribing information to a high standard
Analysing information and using your initiative to make decisions
Using empathy with internal and external stakeholders.
Communicating easily and effectively both written and orally.
Managing conflicting demands.

Shift work details:
Our centre in Otahuhu operates 24/7 on a six on four off roster, including night shifts . The roster pattern is two early shifts (0600hrs – 1500hrs), two late shifts (1200hrs – 2200hrs), two night shifts (2100hrs – 0630hrs), followed by four days off.
