About the role
As an Administration Trainee, you will:
- Provide administrative functions and confidential administrative support for the regional office including, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, photocopying and taking minutes at various meetings.
- As part of a team, deliver a high-quality telephone and reception service to customers, service providers and members of the public by maintaining a welcoming and professional manner, acknowledging all visitors and callers, respecting diversity, and responding promptly to their needs.
- Maintain filing and recording system ensuring the confidentiality of all documentation handled.
- Assist with ordering stationery, stock control and maintenance of stationery cupboards.
- Undertake work activities in a cooperative and supportive manner as an active member of a diverse work team.
What we are looking for
The position requires an applicant who:
- Can seek clarity of tasks and work collaboratively with individuals and the team to meet objectives and goals.
- Can build and sustain positive relationships with team members and customers through sharing information and ensure the team and stakeholders are kept informed of issues.
- Has basic computer literacy including competent use of Microsoft Office or the ability to rapidly acquire.
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people.
