Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service as you will be the face of our company during deliveries.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive trucks to transport freight to various locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Must be non smoker
Must have good knowledge of the city and surrounding area
must be able to operate equipment like zoom booms skidsteers
Assist in the operation of forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed for loading/unloading tasks.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures.
Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely.
Basic for minor vehicle maintenance.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week
