Job Description Summary

An Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and delivering significant components of engineering solutions to accomplish business goals efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities of this role include active participation in the design of their solution components, investigating re-use, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment with clear, robust and well tested deployments.

Engineers actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of components by applying the learning from monitoring and observation, automating towards zero touch, and championing a 'DevOps' mind-set.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Engineers, Product managers, Business users to define problems and goals, map user flows, Prototype interactions and launch new products and services.
• Leverage user research to influence stakeholders and improve product design and strategy
• Craft every detail of new features, from idea to pixel perfect execution
• Run projects end to end with engineers to drive the implementation
• Ensure the design guidelines and principles are clearly translated in the artifacts
• Create and revise information architecture documents including but not limited to; site maps, user profiles, research, user scenarios, wireframes, content matrices, flow diagrams/process maps, and detailed design requirements/specifications.
• Devise and facilitate usability test sessions, analyze data and preset findings with recommendations to stakeholder team.
• Contribute to the design system for continuous improvements.
• Be familiar with new UX methods, promote them across the bank and experiment with them in your projects.
• Be aware of the latest Web Accessibility standards.

Your Skills and Experience:
• +-12 years’ experience working with UX teams operating in Agile methodologies
• Solid proficiency in a variety of design tools (Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.)
• Strong experience in conducting user research, analyzing user’s motivations and being the user’s voice.
• Successful track record in working across organizational boundaries and collaborating with cross functional teams
• Experience in planning, designing and executing User Research methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• A detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in an Agile development environment where teams will be working at different paces.
• Experience in Banking products will be an added advantage
• Ability to formulate UX design strategy and communicate to the product team.
