Warehouse Operations Supervisor - PM shift
Rota: Monday-*Friday 14.00-22.30*
Salary: £33,50+ p.a
East Midlands Gateway
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Operations Supervisor with a strong background in Quality Control and experience within the FMCG industry. This is a key role that ensure smooth operation of the site processes while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. As an integral part of the operations team, you will oversea production workflows, lead quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement in a face paced high- volume environment.
Your Tasks
• People management activities, 1:1s and PDP’s, developing & training to ensure they meet performance and benchmarks.
• Building good relationships with stakeholders and internal departments
• Distributing work orders and ensuring the workload of the employees
• Steering, coordinating, and implementing processes as well as planning the daily business activities
• First point of contact for all process and technical faults and forwarding of reports to the involved departments
• Identifying issues or problems and initiating corrective measures and success control
• Ensuring SLA compliance
• Working in the SAP system
• Participating in resource planning (staff and infrastructure)
• Creating and evaluating reports
• Ensuring the quality and service level specifications
• People management activities
Your Profile
• Proven supervisory experience preferably in a quality control role within the FMCG sector.
• Good knowledge of quality management systems, ie ISO, HACCP
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a high volume DC environment.
• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
• Experience of working with computerised systems (SAP, WMS, MSOffice)
• Able to demonstrate reliability, good time management and organisation skills
• Good numerical skills and record keeping skills.
• Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
• Show the ability to take ownership of an issue, seeing it through from start to finish in a professional manner.
