What You’ll Be Doing:
• Creating and maintaining visually appealing, interactive websites and web pages to improve user experiences.
• Produce wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to bring your ideas to life.
• Optimise websites for speed, scalability and user-friendliness.
• Develop graphics, banners, email campaigns and other web images, as well as traditional 3D designs for print and exhibition stands.
• Ensure designs and websites align with brand guidelines and convey the client’s unique tone of voice.
• Work closely with the team to make sure that your designs are seamlessly integrated into the final product.
• Develop prototypes and mock-ups to attract potential new clients
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools and technologies to keep your skills sharp.
About You:
We’re ideally looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, but if you’ve got an outstanding portfolio, we’d love to see it!
You’ll be working closely with our clients, developers, designers, digital team and account managers to make sure our websites and traditional graphic designs are hitting the mark. You’re a great communicator, both in writing and in person and you can discuss your ideas confidently with clients, keeping them in the loop on design, build and development progress.
Here are the must-have skills and desirable qualities the ideal candidate will possess:
Must-Have Skills:
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design
• Familiarity with WordPress and WooCommerce
• WordPress theme development
• Knowledge of PHP
• An understanding of SEO techniques
• Familiarity with work management systems (e.g., Asana, Monday)
