Job description
The Product Manager would be leading all product/tech related initiatives by striking a balance between the company’s goals and learnings from data backed customer insights. You will understand the broad needs of the business, scan the competitive landscape, spot trends and technical developments and update the product roadmap accordingly. In parallel, you will continue to fine tune both our storefronts - app & website, from a design, utility & functionality perspective. With conversion rate being the north star across all customer cohorts, you would need to keep a consistent check on the overall purchase funnel and optimize for each metric simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities
• Proactively & independently identify key opportunities & gaps to improve Marketing funnel - Conversion & AOV Scope, prioritize and lead their validation and execution end-to-end
• Own the overall product roadmap, and manage prioritization and trade offs against customer experience, sprint planning, and time to mark
• Provide leadership in defining MVPs or experiments that allow us to test our hypothesis while delivering a delightful customer experience
• Coordinate with data teams and collate data through multiple touchpoints like Shopify, Clever tap, GA to conclude on benchmarking and impact analysis
• Proactively identify and resolve strategic and technical issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
• Work closely with development teams and mediate between technical, UX/UI, and business matters, backing up your opinion with data and driving decisions forward when needed
• Do the market research, find out the trending UI experiences & closely work with designers. Heavily invest in post and pre user Feedback to make customized and scalable solutions
• Handling business as usual including sale properties, new launches, inventory tracking, product pricing, CRM exclusive offers, etc.
• Work closely with multiple stakeholders and teams - Technology partners, Digital Solutions, Marketing, Operations and Business teams, for driving the timely launch of featurues
• Manage sprint, product release and launches on regular intervals
• Fulfil scrum duties of a Product Owner as needed, including conducting sprint planning / reviewing meetings, and maintaining the product backlog
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:
• Bachelor’s or Master's in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience in product management in a B2C environment
• 6+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology, additional app management experience is preferred
• Strong Analytical Mindset and basic fluency in design (UI/UX), Shopify ecosystem, development fundamentals
• Experience creating and evolving customer and developer experiences from conceptualizing to launch.
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery, overseeing roadmap strategy and definition, contributing to discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a platform product
• Has proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases
• Stakeholder Management: Strong collaboration, superb communication skills and ability to synthesize information quickly and should be comfortable in handling uncertainty and operating independently.
