About Project – WTP project ||Design, Build, and Operate (DBO) contract. The project is scheduled for completion within 48 months, with comprehensive operation and maintenance.

Experience – + 23 Years ( Must be Completed 4-5 WTP/WWTP Projects +200 MLD Capacity Minimum )

Min Qualification – B.Tech – Mechanical /Civil /Electrical

Details about Experience:

1. Minimum of 15 years of experience as a Project Manager/Project Head or in a similar senior role, with a strong background in large WTP project construction.

2. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

3. Extensive experience in dealing with stakeholders such as government agencies, government clients, high-class contractors, project management consultants (PMCs), and design partners. In-depth knowledge of WTP project construction practices, standards, and regulations.

Key Competencies: Strong commercial acumen and experience in contract administration, including contract negotiation and management. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results.

Position Overview:

– We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to oversee the construction and commissioning of the WTP project. The Project Director will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Water and will be responsible for ensuring that the project is executed within the defined timelines, cost targets, quality standards, and safety parameters. This is a site-based role with a six-day working schedule. The Project Director will lead a team of Project Managers and their respective teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead the entire construction and commissioning process of the WTP project, ensuring adherence to project timelines, cost targets, quality standards, and safety parameters.

2. Manage and coordinate all project activities, including planning, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning, in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.

3. Oversee the project budget and monitor expenses, ensuring cost control measures are in place.

4. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and codes throughout the project lifecycle.

5. Develop and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, government clients, high-class contractors, project management consultants (PMCs), and design partners.

6. Liaise with stakeholders to address any concerns, resolve issues, and maintain positive working relationships.

7. Collaborate with the project team to review and evaluate project designs, technical specifications, and construction plans.

8. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as required.

+. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.

10. Conduct regular project meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

11. Ensure effective contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating contracts, change orders, and claims.

12. Evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as necessary.

13. Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

14. Manage a team of two Project Managers and provide leadership, guidance, and support to their respective teams.
