We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant with a focus on Vendor Management and Procurement. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing vendor relationships, conducting negotiations, and streamlining procurement processes. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure efficient vendor selection and rationalization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Management:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.

o Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service agreements and quality standards.

2. Negotiation:

o Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure favourable agreements.

o Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and ensure compliance.

3. Vendor Selection:

o Research and identify potential vendors based on company needs and industry standards.

o Conduct vendor assessments and evaluations to support selection decisions.

4. Purchase Management:

o Coordinate and manage purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.

o Maintain accurate records of purchases, including pricing and delivery timelines.

5. Procurement:

o Assist in developing procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.

o Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop specifications.

6. Vendor Rationalization:

o Analyze vendor performance data to assess value and efficiency.

o Recommend vendors for rationalization based on performance metrics and strategic fit.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or related administrative roles.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
