About the role

The Data Manager and System Support Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining comprehensive data for the Endoscopy Unit, including data collection, data entry and analysis for accurate, timely and quality patient related data. The position also has a requirement to support quality and audit activities within the Endoscopy Unit.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Fulfil the accountabilities of this rolein accordance with Queensland Health's core values.
Provide clear and accurate reports to members of the Gastroenterology Department for strategic planning in the decision-making process
Work effectively (proactively and collaboratively) to perform tasks related to timely and accurate data entry/lodgement into ESISS, ESM, HBCIS
Manage data requests to support strategic decision making, operational objectives and investigations
Assist in the development, maintenance and enhancement of data models to measure efficiency, effectiveness, identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
Provide feedback to users on problems and issues relating to the quality of data input.
Undertake research to identify trends in service delivery that could improve business efficiency
