About the Role

The Oral Health Therapist – Advanced will provide high-level clinical leadership within the health professional and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, deliver and participate in evaluation of specialised education and training programs as the health professional lead within OHS.
Advocate for and provide authoritative counsel regarding operational processes, initiatives and delivery standards of the oral health service.
Contribute to clinical governance and professional competence at a service level, providing clinical practice supervision and providing advanced training and guidance.
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will require:

A tertiary degree in Oral Health Therapy.
AHPRA Registration.
Possession of an appropriate User License issued under the Queensland Radiation.
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (Gold Coast Health will cover cost).
