Financial Controller

Our client is a fast-growing company with a solid business model and futureproof business. Due to the increase in business they require a Financial Controller capable of running large scale businesses in excess of $15m in turnover.

The ideal candidate will be used to running more than one entity, be able to deal with large volume patrol and strong understanding of overtime/penalties/loading. Expert level in Xero

The Financial Controller is responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control, financial reporting the directors, as well as compliance with government regulations.

Working closely with the directors you will take care of the running of the business from a financial perspective to free them up to continue expansion.

Duties include
Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances
Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
Forecasting future financial performance
Preparing and analysing budgets
Providing accurate financial reports to management
Ensuring compliance with government regulations
Ensuring accuracy of financial statements
Assisting in acquisitions
Overseeing all financial planning and analysis
Forecasting future performance
Recommending changes to improve financial performance
Utilising updated technologies for their job

Required

Working from the office
Previous experience as a Financial Controller
CPA and/or CA qualifications
