Summary

Front Office Control Clerk is an instrumental role of the Front Office department. They manage the daily operations of the hotel’s room inventory, focusing on ensuring that all guests' room requirements are met, optimizing room allocations based on guests' preferences and status, and managing room lists for large groups and events.
The Front Office Control Clerk directly monitors the hotel’s room occupancy, making adjustments and maximizing room usage, revenue, and upsell opportunities. Assists with the daily operations of the Front Office, including but not limited to:
• Checking in guests, checking out guests
• Monitoring the guest’s messaging system
• Work with the guest's requests through the Hyatt’s system
• Processing financial reports, group and individual billing
• Responsible for training new members of the team and organizing re-training sessions for the staff.
• Review and respond to related guest’s emails
• Coordinates and works together with the engineering department on the room maintenance program.
• Resolve room conflicts and guest issues related to room assignments
• Provide the Front Office with accurate and timely information regarding room availability.
• Work closely with the housekeeping and engineering department to ensure the rooms are in optimal condition for guests.
• Attends meetings and provides information to the team.
• Work closely with Revenue Management and Sales and Events areas
