We are currently seeking a talented Graduate Assistant Accountant to join our finance team based in the south of Sydney. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and driven individual with a solid grounding in accounting principles.
Key responsibilities:
Credit Control & Debts Recovery – ensure revenue from all business units are received within the credit term and follow up any overdue debts in a timely manner, outbound collections calls, managing credit limits on new and existing customers to mitigate credit risk
Daily Banking and allocation
Set up new customer profiles include credit check, maintaining and accurately updating customer records
Provide exceptional customer service, resolving disputes promptly and effectively
Liaise with branch staffs to resolve rental queries
Assisting in end of month and year account reconciliations & auditing
General office duties
Ad hoc work as and when required
The ideal candidate will have:
CAR RENTAL WORKING EXPERIENCE WILL BE HIGHLY PREFERRED
Diploma qualification or above
Exposure to Car Rental System & MYOB EXO would be advantageous
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to customers as well towards other stakeholders
Driver Licence is preferable
