Responsibilities
• Work with customers directly, as well as Oracle Customer Support, Sales and Sales Consulting teams to understand customer usage patterns, help deployment of Oracle's innovative technologies and cloud services by working with customers' architecture teams, and improve the adoption of best practices
• Plan and execute product announcements
• Create product assets using PPT, Word, and video editing software
• Assists in the development of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
• Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.
• Influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations
• Demonstrate leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management.
• Provide hands-on training for Customer Support and Technical Sales personnel, as well as for select customers
• Develop collateral such as technical and business white papers, success stories, data sheets, brochures, best practices and product presentations
• Maintain internal and external web sites on related technologies
• Present at Oracle user group meetings, trade shows, customer sites, industry conferences, industry analyst meetings and at the Oracle Customer Visit Center
• Track the PaaS / Converged Infrastructure market landscape, as well as competitive products and features
• Customer references and stories
• Evangelize product both internally and externally
• Be creative in solutioning customer problems/requirements.

Skills
• 1 - 5 years of engineering / product management / technical sales experience, preferably in enterprise computing, with strong familiarity around computer networks, cloud technologies, virtualization, data center infrastructure; familiarity with Oracle databases as a DBA is a strong plus
• Excellent written and communication / presentation skills - writing samples will be required
• BS, MS or MBA in Computer Science or related technical degree
• Balanced mix of leadership and technical skills, along with relevant hardware and database software experiences
• Experience dealing with a broad spectrum of IT audience - ranging from CTO/CIO to database/systems/network/storage administrators
• Awareness of trends and opportunities in cloud computing and potential influence on Oracle's business
• Analytical skills, with a passion to solve complex technology and business problems, and an aptitude to learn new things
• Meticulous, structured and detail-oriented, while also having the ability to see the big-picture
• Strong inter-personal skills - ability to effectively deal with various internal groups as well as external customers in high intensity situations
• A can-do attitude, with a focus on deliverables and deadlines
• Superb time management skills, especially in the context of multiple commitments

Canada: Hiring Range from $76,700 to $167,000 CAD per annum
US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $1++,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Responsibilities
Serves as a Job Training and Education Expert and work as a part of a team to provide Facilitation, and Logistical Support for Adult Education Reform to the Department of Education Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE) | Division of Adult Education and Literacy (DAEL)
The purpose of this task order is to provide subject matter expertise and logistical support to the Department of Education for the production of policy-related materials and a variety of meetings
The ProSidian Engagement Team will identify and procure subject matter experts with knowledge of adult education policy and pedagogy, who will assist in the preparation of commissioned papers, participate in meetings, and provide other services as needed
The subject matter experts will provide technical assistance and support to the Department of Education across a wide range of subject areas in areas like Washington D.C., Atlanta, GA, San Francisco, CA, Austin, TX, and Chicago, IL
