As the Junior Receptionist at Ignite Travel Group, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our front desk and reception areas.
You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, visitors, suppliers, and internal staff—delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the overall front-of-house experience. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone new to the workforce who’s eager to kick-start a career in the travel industry.
A day in the life:
Front counter/ reception duties.
Meet and greet all incoming clients and customers.
Arrange meeting rooms and provide client services in conference centre rooms.
Process ingoing/ outgoing Australia Post mail and deliveries
Coordinate staff uniform orders and storage
Head office kitchen supplies order and monitor
Printer/ photocopier/ stationery supplies order and monitor
Assist in various administrative duties as requested by management, which may include filing, scanning, and other office-related tasks.
Provide support in planning and organising company events, including booking venues, coordinating catering, and managing invitations.
Who you are:
Immaculate personal presentation and excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in a customer-facing administration role
High level customer service focus
A team player who also has the ability to work autonomously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and email
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Strong initiative and creative problem-solving
