Position: Lead Coordinator – Events & Knowledge Sharing Initiatives
Department: Confederation of Indian Private Universities (CIPU – EP Secretariat)
Reporting to: Director General, CIPU

Role Overview:
The Lead Coordinator – Events & Knowledge Sharing Initiatives will play a vital role in enhancing CIPU’s thought leadership and stakeholder engagement. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating impactful events and knowledge-sharing platforms that contribute to the growth and advancement of India’s higher education landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
Lead the end-to-end organization of events such as webinars, conferences, roundtables, workshops, and forums, ensuring smooth execution and maximum stakeholder value.
Program Development:
Conceptualize and implement event themes and program agendas that resonate with current and emerging trends in higher education, policy, and institutional development.
Speaker & Partner Coordination:
Identify and engage relevant speakers, panelists, and institutional partners; ensure timely communication and seamless coordination for all event-related activities.
Content & Knowledge Sharing:
Curate high-quality knowledge content including research briefs, event summaries, presentations, case studies, and reports. Drive the dissemination of this content across platforms to build CIPU’s knowledge repository.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with member universities, government officials, academic experts, and industry leaders to foster a vibrant ecosystem of learning and collaboration.
Budgeting & Reporting:
Manage event budgets, track expenditures, and prepare comprehensive post-event reports including participant feedback, key insights, and recommendations for future improvements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and multi-stakeholder coordination.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior academic and industry professionals.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with event technologies, platforms, and reporting tools is an added advantage.
