Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As a Logistics Assistant, you will provide effective and efficient logistical assistance to all colleges and departments. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the delivery, relocation, storage and installation of furniture.
Ensuring all goods held in the Warehouse/Mailroom are accurately recorded and are handled and stored in a safe and secure manner.
Providing operational support for university events and ceremonies.
Assisting with organising and maintaining furniture storage areas to ensure accessibility and safety.
Mōu | Who You Are
You will be an experienced logistics professional with at least 2 years' experience in distribution services and/or furniture and warehouse management. You will also have:
A clean and current NZ Driver's Licence.
The ability to perform the physical aspects of the role.
Experience using hand tools for basic furniture assembly.
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations (desirable).
An active commitment to UC values and cultural practices.

Reporting to the Furniture and Distributions Coordinator. you will also liaise with internal staff, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth logistical operations.
