We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager and Marketing professional to join our FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) company based in Angola. As a Sales Manager and Marketing, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, developing marketing strategies, and managing key client relationships. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, with suitable qualifications and preferably an MBA degree.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth in the FMCG sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including identifying potential customers, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new product opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, logistics, and finance to ensure timely delivery of products, resolve customer issues, and optimize sales performance.
• Analyze sales data, market research, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for business expansion and drive product development and improvement.
• Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to achieve sales targets.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of the FMCG market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify market opportunities, analyze sales data, and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA qualification is highly preferred.
• Proficient in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Portuguese or local Angolan languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Angola and occasionally internationally.
