Asset Finance Associate (Rail Sector Focus)
Location: London
Salary Range: £40,000-£70,000

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our leading Transport & Asset Finance practice, specializing in rail and rolling stock finance. In this role, you will collaborate with a team renowned for handling market-leading transactions in the rail and aviation sectors, offering expertise in the sale, purchase, leasing, procurement, and financing of tangible movable assets.
Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice on asset financing, with a primary focus on the rail sector.
• Independently manage smaller transactions and support the team on larger deals.
• Draft and review financing and transactional documentation.
• Manage client relationships and oversee project delivery.
• Conduct legal research and identify key risks.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Participate in pitches and client presentations.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years PQE with experience in asset finance transactions.
• Expertise in the rail sector (preferred).
• Aviation and general banking finance experience are advantageous.
• Proven experience in cross-border transactions.
• Strong drafting, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Commercially focused with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ethical, adaptable, and efficient in managing workload
